I’m glad to announce that SourceAnywhere Hosted 3.0.1, a SQL server based online source control solution, was released today.

In the new release, we introduced many new features, including emails notification, Pending Checkins, Shelve/Unshelve, file status (Normal, Missing, Old, Modified and Unknown), etc. On top of that, V3.0.1 further improved its security and user experience. I’m glad to announce that Dynamic Web TWAIN 6.3 was released today. And, Dynamsoft is now an Associate Member of the TWAIN working group. It means easier way for our team to get the latest trends of TWAIN technologies.

Dynamic Web TWAIN (DWT) is a TWAIN scanning SDK, which enables you to acquire images from any TWAIN compliant devices. As a team member of Dynamsoft, it is good see that Dynamic Web TWAIN is changing and improving every day.

In the new release, we added support for 64-bit Internet Explorer which allows acquiring images through 64-bit TWAIN drivers. Check out what’s new in version 6.3:

• Support both 32-bit and 64-bit Internet Explorer.
• Support Firefox 4 for Plug-in Edition.
• Added theOnPostLoad method which is triggered after executing the LoadImage/LoadImageEx method.
• Other minor fixes and tweaks.

To simplify the evaluation process, we integrated ActiveX and Plug-in Edition into our online demo. (Test out the TWAIN component with our new online demo and enjoy scanning in IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, etc.).

Dynamsoft released SourceAnywhere 3.0.1 today! It is a SQL server-based version control software designed to a VSS replacement.

In this new version, our team further improved the VSS Import Tool. Importing databases from Visual SourceSafe to SourceAnywhere is much easier now. Based on the feedback from our customers, and also thanks for the effort of our test team, several bugs have been fixed in version 3.0.1. Please check out the details here:

• Fixed bug where sorting by filename in Pending Checkins window doesn’t work properly.
• Fixed bug where keyword expansion may cause EOL issue in rare situations.
• Fixed bug if you perform Get Latest Version on checked-out files to other folders, the files become writable.

I’m glad to announce that version 6.2 of Dynamic Web TWAIN, a web scanning solution, was released today!

The new version of Dynamic Web TWAIN supports TWAIN Specification 2.1.  Also, it includes many new features/improvements according to the feedback of our customers. I’m putting the highlights below:

• Compatible with DEP and Protected Mode.
• Plug-in edition now supports Windows Authentication and Basic Authentication as well.
• End users can now install the ActiveX control to personal folders.
• Improved support for Canon scanners.
• Added support for fitting image to the width or height of window.
• Added support for getting the general info a scanned image (width, height, bit depth etc).

I’m glad to announce that SCM Anywhere 2.2.1 (both standalone and hosted editions) was released today.

SCM Anywhere is a SQL-based software configuration management (SCM) solution with fully integrated version control, issue tracking and build automation. Since the launch in 2008, SCM Anywhere has gained a very good conversion rate (from download to purchase). It is inspiringto both Dynamsoft and our customers.

I’m glad to announce that Dynamsoft released version 2.0 of Dynamic .NET TWAIN, the .NET component for TWAIN scanning desktop applications.

In the major upgrade, we added support for Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and above. Running under any CPU (both 32-bit and 64-bit) is also available in the new release. In addition, V2.0 includes the following improvements:

• Added property PDFPageSize to set the page size of PDF files.
  All page size values listed in DWTPDFPageSize are supported.
• Added properties to set PDF file margins:
  PDFMarginBottom, PDFMarginLeft, PDFMarginRight, PDFMarginTop
• Optimized the zoom feature: smoother transformation when zooming in/out an image.
• Added methods to save the settings of the user interface of the source:
  SaveCustomDSData, SaveCustomDSDataEx
• Added methods to restore the saved settings of the user interface:
  LoadCustomDSData, LoadCustomDSDataEx
